Larissa Ernst works to enhance the quality of the lives of her clients through enhancing the quality and effectiveness of their interactions and relationships. Clients are helped to experience meaningful relationships in all spheres of their lives. This therapeutic approach is called Integrative Interactional Psychotherapy. It is a systemic approach to therapy.
They say that no man is an island.
It is on this truth that my approach is based. The quality of our lives are directly linked to the quality of the relationships we have with other people - whether these are our life partners, family, colleagues or friends.
I have a special interest in working from a relational and family therapy perspective and the variety of difficulties people face on an individual, couples and/or family level. I am passionate about helping people adjust to new life challenges and change, such as the birth of a child, divorce or separation, blended families, as well as helping expatriate couples and families to adjust.
I am also experienced in utilising hypnosis in psychotherapy to assist with various difficulties such as anxiety, self-esteem, confidence, performance anxiety in work, sport or academically, overall health and wellness.
